#16 Power Dust for Horses is a blend formulated especially for horse treatment. Used dry to dust the area or as a poultice to dress it. #16 will support the natural healing process through all stages of recovery.
RECOMMENDED USE
If area for treatment fresh and moist, it will support circulation and tissue growth by sprinkling the dry powder directly on the area and then wrapping. Leave it covered for 12 hours then remove the wrap and wipe the area clean with a clean cloth. Reapply the poultice powder and leave exposed to the open air for 12 hours. Continue this cycle until it is healed. If it is dry or scabbed over, you can make a poultice by mixing a small amount of water to a measured amount of the powder and applying to poultice directly to the area and wrapping with a sterile wrap. Follow the same 12 hours on and 12 hours off as above.
ABOUT US
Today, Silver Lining Herbs is a world leader in natural herbal support for horses, dogs, and humans, with tremendous sales growth as word has spread of the effectiveness of Silver Lining Herbs. Yet, it remains a family-owned company, with a passion for helping people take optimal care of their animals for both health and performance.
This ethos has its roots with Lavern Young, father of Silver Lining founder Mickey Young. A cattle rancher and range rider for the Bureau of Land Management for over 20 years, Lavern grew up in close proximity to the Navajo Indians, from whom he learned a great deal about medicinal herbs and their beneficial uses for both human and animal. All of these life experiences came together to form a commitment to seeking health naturally, a commitment shared by his wife Ruth Young, who became an herbalist in her own right, respected throughout the community for the quality of the herbs and advice found at her store.
